Instructions
Rinse and Soak the Lentils: Start by rinsing the French lentils under cold water to remove any debris. Then, soak them in water for about 30 minutes. This helps them cook more evenly and reduces the cooking time.
Prepare the Vegetables: Dice the onion and carrots, and finely chop the garlic. Set them aside, ready to add their magic to the dish.
