10 Small Bedroom Ideas To Create A Cozy Space
1. have a small bedframe
Many people underestimate how big a bed/bedframe can be. Meaning, get as small a bed as you reasonably can, and use the extra space for the decorations.

2. wall shelves
You probably don’t have a lot of floor space so use the wall! Wall shelves are our favorite way to do it because they look cute and hold a good amount of stuff.

3. have a nightstand with storage
You want to get as much storage out of your bedroom as possible so make sure you buy a nightstand with at least some (hopefully more) space.

4. buy a small rug
This tip is especially for people with hardwood floors. You don’t need a large rug to transform the space, instead buy a smaller one to add that extra dimension.

5. add fairy lights
Fairy lights are a great way to make your room feel more cozy without breaking the bank. The ones we linked below, are for a great price and look super cute!

6. wall shelve
As you can notice, we are adding decorations that will take up wall space! So get a wall ladder and put your blankets, towels, clothes, etc, on it.

7. add decor to what you already need
I know this is a bathroom instead of a bedroom but it has the example I want to show.
Every bathroom needs a bath mat but instead of buying a boring one, buy one that’s funny and cute. Do that with your decorations for your bedroom. Instead of buying a simple dresser, find one that you LOVE!

8. add a bed bench
We LOVE bed benches!
They are the perfect place for blankets, books, or anything else you want to put on or below it.

9. add large wall art
You may not want to add a bunch of small decorations to your walls – and that’s okay – so get large art pieces to add instead to make your room cozy and still give the appearance of more.

10. add a large mirror
A mirror is a GREAT way to give the appeal of more space in any room. It almost adds those missing dimensions. Plus it looks great!
