Hi welcome to my blogging income report for January.

Let me first address the elephant in the room… this is being posted VERY late.

I underestimated how much homework I would have butttt I still got all of my posts published and pins uploaded so yay!

However, I am way behind in everything else. I plan to spend half of spring break updating old posts and batch-creating some to give myself some relief.

So good luck to future alli (whoop whoop).

If you can’t tell, I’m writing this at 2 am so expect some sarcasm and funny remarks.

In terms of my overview of blogging for this month, it was bad. I put maybe 5 hours a week into it. I would just make the posts and then publish them and forget about it. Is it a good strategy? Absolutely not.

But a girl’s gotta do what a girl gotta do.

My strategy for blogging and Pinterest is still the same and I’m not changing anything else right now. You can read my last income report to find out my exact strategy (yeah for FREE you’re welcome ;).

here are my previous income reports:

January 2024 BLOG INCOME REPORT (+ TRAFFIC)

(I am only reporting income that was made in January 2024. Due to most of the programs I am making money from taking around 60-90 days to be deposited into your bank account, I will post the proof of income when it is deposited.)

Proof Of Income:

In January 2024, I made $1,748.05 from my blog. Here is the breakdown of where that money is coming from.

  • Affiliate Income – $467.47
    • Amazon Affiliates: $467.47
  • Advertising – $1,280.58
    • Mediavine: $1,280.58

Page Views: 66,195

TOTAL: $1,748.05

A BIG change this month was the amount of money from Mediavine. Apparently, advertisers pay less in Q1 so that’s good to know even though it was unexpected.

I also decided I won’t post an income report for next month because it’s already halfway through February (haha sorry) and so far I’m projected to make the same so no point in posting about it.

If you have been reading my income reports, you remember in November how I was struggling with the feeling of being embarrassed about my income but I’ve gotten over it. I honestly have gotten into the routine of blogging by now and I don’t even think of the income until I’m making my monthly budget.

I’m still projecting to make 10k in one month in the summer (dream big yk) and you’re probably thinking I’m crazy. I have made it a priority to think short-term with posts like 3-4 months out so I feel prepared for my views to skyrocket in May and June. So when the ad prices go up, money comes in.

My views are not skyrocketing like I would like but I also knew they wouldn’t. I don’t have a column that does well in Q1 so I’m okay with 60k views. If it was May, I would be saying something completely different though.

Just like my last income reports, I’ve been saving 30% to put away for taxes so I don’t keep all of the money (crying emoji).

Okay that’s it for my January blogging income report! As always comment or email me hello@wereadulting.com if you have any questions.
