College Dorm Room Items You Will Not Regret Buying This Year
1. Mattress Pad
I know! I’ve been telling you over and over again to buy this mattress pad. But seriously, you will need it!
Don’t be like me and wait till the last minute and go shopping at Target at one. They will be completely sold out just like they were for me (not even joking).
2. Fridge
I have this fridge and it is perfect.
This fits all of my drinks and even the Tupperware that I put food inside of!
If you are even thinking of buying a fridge, definitely recommend this one from Amazon!
3. Cooling Bed Pillows For Sleeping
You are going to need pillows!
These ones are super comfy and can help your sleep schedule.
4. Keurig Coffee Machine
If you are like me and love caffeine, you will love this appliance.
This coffee machine takes up barely any space and still makes you the coffee you love.
5. Shower Caddy
Do not carry all of your bathroom items in multiple trips to the shower. Just buy this simple shower caddy and eliminate all of that hassle.
This one is less than $15 and has thousands of good reviews.
6. Cloud Slippers
These are my favorite slippers on the internet right now.
You can have these as shower shoes or shoes you go out with on a Friday night. Up to you but, these are perfect!
7. Bedside Perch
If you plan to elevate your bed, (as you should) buy this bed perch. It is perfect for your phone and to put your water on.
8. Extension Cord and Power Strip
Power strips and extension cords saved my life in college. Likewise, in most college dorm rooms or at least ones at my school, you will only have a few outlets (most likely two). This means you will need to keep switching out your chargers to charge your phone, computer, Tv, etc.
It gets very annoying and wastes so much time, especially if you have friends over.
9. Make-up Mirror
This is the exact mirror I had. You can just leave this on your desk and if you ever need to do makeup, this is the mirror for you.
10. Plastic Dinner Set
You are going to need some plates and cups for your dorm room.
I found these on Amazon for cheap.
11. Mini Fridge Caddy
When you buy your fridge, don’t forget about this caddy!
It goes directly on top of your fridge and you can put the contaminants next to it. I have even seen people put a microwave on top of this fridge caddy. Keeps everything organized!
12. Dorm Desk Organizer
I recently saw a photo of a girl’s dorm room with this on her desk – HOW FREAKIN SMART?
She had it on the back of her desk against the wall and she had her books and computers on it.
13. Vacuum
If you are living in a dorm room, a vacuum is essential.
Split the price with your roommate to save as much money as you can and keep your dorm clean!
14. Countertop Organizer
Do not have all of your makeup laying around everywhere on the desk.
Get this countertop organizer and eliminate the mess.
15. Mini Keurig Coffee Machine
I would not survive college if not for caffeine. I currently live in the sorority house and thankfully we have the larger Keurig machine but this is the perfect size for a dorm room!
